Effective September 13, 2026 · Version 1.0
SwatchBro terms
These terms govern a merchant’s use of SwatchBro and supplement the terms presented through Shopify and BroFam’s shared policies. Installing or using SwatchBro confirms that the user is authorized to act for the merchant and accepts these terms.
Service
SwatchBro provides Shopify-native swatch presentation, color grouping, product-media and gallery behavior, variant synchronization, catalog review and import tools, and plan-dependent merchandising or developer capabilities. Shopify remains the authority for products, variants, media, pricing, inventory, carts, and checkout. Results depend on the merchant’s Shopify data, configuration, theme, and enabled integrations.
Merchant responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for their catalog accuracy, theme configuration, storefront testing, legal notices, and rights to product names, images, colors, imports, and other submitted material. Merchants must review previews before confirming changes and must not upload customer personal information, passwords, access tokens, or content they are not permitted to use.
Imports and Shopify-native changes
SwatchBro presents a dry run and requires merchant confirmation before supported bulk writes. Confirmed operations can create or update Shopify-native Files, product media, metafields, metaobjects, or variant-media assignments. Recovery tools restore recorded references where supported; they do not automatically delete merchant-owned assets or guarantee reversal of every external or later merchant change.
Developer API
Developer API access is intended for trusted server-side integrations. Merchants are responsible for protecting, rotating, and revoking their keys and for the actions of systems using them. Keys must not be placed in themes, browser JavaScript, public repositories, or mobile applications. SwatchBro may enforce plan, request, payload, concurrency, and abuse-prevention limits.
Plans and billing
Shopify presents and manages SwatchBro subscription approval and billing. The plan, price, trial, renewal, and change terms shown in Shopify at approval govern the subscription. Plan changes can alter feature access. If a merchant confirms immediate cancellation in SwatchBro, paid features stop after Shopify verifies cancellation, no automatic refund is issued, and Shopify-native merchant data and assets are not automatically deleted.
Acceptable use
Users must not attempt cross-merchant access, bypass plan or safety controls, submit malicious files, misuse Developer API credentials, interfere with Shopify or another service, or use SwatchBro to copy or publish material without authorization. BroFam may restrict a capability to protect merchants, Shopify, providers, or the service.
Availability and support
BroFam works to operate SwatchBro reliably but does not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every theme customization, or a particular merchandising or sales outcome. Optional enrichment is designed to leave Shopify-native product behavior available when possible. Support is available through the secure contact form.
Termination and data
A merchant can uninstall SwatchBro through Shopify. Uninstall revokes application access and removes extension rendering according to Shopify’s platform behavior. App-owned information is handled under the SwatchBro privacy notice. Shopify-native merchant content can remain in the merchant’s store after uninstall.
Changes
Material changes receive a new version and effective date.
