Start with the variant images already in your catalog. SwatchBro groups colors, chooses representative images, and keeps variant selection synchronized. Images are served directly from Shopify’s CDN—not through a SwatchBro image proxy.

Color setup helps you find missing coverage and review automatic color suggestions. Use a single hex code, two-color swatches, or an image, with configurable names, text sizes, shapes, and swatch sizes.

Enterprise CSV imports include a preview before confirmation, background processing, downloadable results with product links, and safe reference rollback where supported. Permitted imported images are copied into Shopify-native storage instead of permanently hotlinked.

Find gaps before shoppers do. Review missing color mappings and variant-image coverage in Color setup, then use Enterprise catalog export to build a focused CSV instead of working through your whole catalog manually.

1. Choose an option such as Color or Colour and filter for missing swatch images or hex codes.
2. Export the matching product options with handles, color values, and existing variant images where available.
3. Review the spreadsheet. Supply an image URL or filename, a hex color, or two hex colors using Value and Value 2.
4. Upload the CSV and preview exact matches and proposed changes. Confirm only after reviewing the results.

Download the import report to see row-by-row results and open the affected storefront products. Background jobs support larger imports; interrupted or partial results can be reviewed before continuing. Safe rollback restores recorded references where supported—it does not automatically delete merchant-owned assets.

Desktop and mobile product-page checks passed on Refresh, Horizon, Symmetry, Impulse, and Prestige, covering color changes, available and sold-out variants, native options, and sticky selected-variant state.

Our current demo also exercises collection and search swatches. Theme checks are specific to the tested versions and configurations—not a guarantee for every theme customization. Horizon’s theme-editor URL behavior and Impulse’s unavailable-variant cart behavior are handled separately from product selection.

Install the theme app extension, add the product block, and enable the card embed. Preview your product pages, galleries, collections, and search before publishing. Availability tools can work alongside BackInStockBro; it handles notification signup when connected.

Connect a merchant-owned custom app or backend to audit missing Shopify variant images by color. Pro includes read-only scans and repair previews; Enterprise adds confirmed, high-confidence image-assignment repairs using existing Shopify media.

Ambiguous matches are flagged, not silently applied. Write requests require confirmation and the reviewed preview revision. Scoped, revocable keys keep access bound to the merchant’s installation.

The Developer API is server-side only. Secret keys must never enter theme JavaScript or browser code, and the API never exposes SwatchBro’s Shopify access token. Your storefront keeps using native Shopify data and CDN images, with no Developer API request required for each swatch click.
